What I’m doing now

By Darren Nathanael on Sat, Jan 27, 2024 / Updated at Wed, Mar 13, 2024

(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.) Updated from my desk.

Please remind me to update this. :p

I’m currently working @ GlassHost, and doing part-time freelancing.
Stuff that I’m doing right now, now: don’t take this too seriously, you might grow old faster…

First of all, can I get an Amen!

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)

Okay now the scripture is out of the way, lets talk about dark book that I started reading just now, now

Food

Currently eating cococrunch, dont ask.

New Book

No new intresting book yet…

Books read in 2024

No way in order. :)

Waiting for

Movies

Wedding Daze

I saw the movie Wedding Daze, and I love it. The ending was unexpected lol;

Music

Currently trying to migrate all of my Spotify playlists to YouTube by using this tool: https://github.com/linsomniac/spotify_to_ytmusic So far I love it!

New song just dropped, Happy Valentine’s Day!

I’m a big fan of MoBo; they were a great band.

Modern Baseball "I Think You Were In My Profile Picture Once" Acoustic
Modern Baseball - Going To Bed Now (Official Audio)
Modern Baseball - "Pothole"

Pretty much, my listening includes songs from either Modern Baseball or Slaughter Beach, Dog. And occasionally, other ‘stuff’.

‘Stuff’ includes songs like:

Jenna Raine - Big Dumb Heart [Live from Hotel Ziggy]
Jenna Raine - Stupid Cupid (Official Music Video)
Lizzy McAlpine covers "Teenage Dirtbag"
Laufey - Best Friend (Official Video)

BookTok

Well more like bookstagram, it has been really helpful finding my next reads. That’s my initial goal upon opening Instagram (ps: you should follow me @darrenuselinux), but the algorithm sometimes has other plans, like forcing meme’s down my throat. It was fun, but also a time burner.

If you’re unlucky enough to follow me, then you’d either get a billion meme video, or a billion booktok video and such.

Also there are two types of people in this world that react to my reels, Fig A (Normally), Fig B (Extravagantly)

Fig A, and Fig B

Grammar’ly

Ever since my subscribtion to grammarly has expired, my grammar is alover the place, so pardon my french.

Alsoooo, I’m listening to Lovesick by Jenna Raine on repeate now, I really love her new song Lovesick. It got released yesterday, and I’m the first out of 100 people to listen to it on her discord server.

Lovesick stream

My favorite part is

I'm so la, la, la, la, la, la, lovesick, and I love it

La, la, la, la, la, la, lovеsick, and I love it

No big images please

Okay so you didn’t read the above because there is too many images, I get it. I don’t blame you…

Let me summarize;

I read books, still, if you met me 10 years ago I would be reading diary of a wimpy kid; But now apparently I read darker… type… of… book…

“oooh its gonna be helllla juiscyy” -H

I maintain old windows server from 2009, and I design network for small medium company.

I still read the bible, don’t worry.

If I miss anything, I’ll problably update it soon.

Let AI Summarize:

I’ve been diving into darker books lately, just finished Taming Seraphine. Waiting eagerly for the release of Pretty Rings and Broken Things on February 22nd, 2024. Also, eagerly anticipating King Of Sloth by Ana Huang. Enjoyed the movie Wedding Daze. Listening to Modern Baseball and Jenna Raine on repeat. BookTok has been helping me find new reads, but sometimes I end up with memes. My grammar has suffered since my Grammarly subscription expired. Currently hooked on Lovesick by Jenna Raine. That’s pretty much it for now!

Really what are you doing right down this moment now, now

I’m running a git push command so you can see the updates on this page!
